The Bible is God’s written revelation to man and thus the sixty-six books of the Bible given to us by the Holy Spirit. It is verbally inspired equally in all parts, absolutely inerrant in the original documents, infallible and God-breathed.
God the Father, the first person of the trinity is the creator of all things. He is sovereign in creation, providence and redemption. As creator He is the Father to all men, but He is the Spiritual Father only to believers.
Jesus Christ, the second person of the trinity possesses all the divine excellences, and in these He is co-equal and co-eternal with the Father. He was virgin born and in His incarnation He accepted all the essential characteristics of humanity and so became God-man. He was God incarnate, and that the purpose of the incarnation was to reveal God, redeem man and rule over God’s kingdom. We are redeemed by His atoning death on the cross through His shed blood, that He bodily resurrected and ascended into heaven, and that He will come again in power and great Glory!
The Holy Spirit is a divine person, eternal, possessing all the attributes of personality and deity including intellect, emotions, eternality, omnipresence, omniscience and truthfulness. In all the divine attributes He is equal with the Father and the Son.
There is but one living and true God, an infinite all knowing Spirit, perfect in all His attributes, one in essence, eternally existing in three persons-Father, Son and Holy Spirit – each equally deserving worship and obedience.
God directly and immediately created man in His own image and likeness. Man was created free of sin, with a rational nature, volition and moral responsibility to God. As a result of Adam’s sin of disobedience to the revealed will and Word of God, man became subject to the wrath of God, and became inherently corrupt and utterly incapable of choosing or doing that which is acceptable to God apart from divine grace. Adam’s sin has been transmitted to all men of all ages, Jesus Christ being the only exception. All men are thus sinners by nature, by choice and by divine declaration.
Salvation is accomplished by the almighty power of the triune God. The entire process – election, regeneration and redemption is the work of God and grace alone. All the redeemed once saved are kept by God’s power and will persevere as all who are saved are ultimately glorified and thus are secure in Christ forever.
All who place their faith in Jesus Christ are immediately placed by the Holy Spirit into one united Spiritual body, the church of which Christ is the head.
